Annual Conference - The Annual Conference committee is chaired by the Immediate Past President of the WSRT. This committee is responsible for locating the site of and planning the Annual Conference (The President-Elect in fact usually starts researching for this two years in advance). By-laws - The By-laws committee addresses issues in the by-laws that may be brought forth by the general membership of the WSRT. Their duty is to review, revise and maintain our by-laws as well as procedural policies of the WSRT. Any proposed amendments to the by-laws must be submitted and sent to the general membership 45 days before the Annual Conference in September. Questions? Click here!

Continuing Education - This committee is chaired by the President-Elect and is responsible for recruiting the speakers for the Annual and Spring Conferences as well as seeking accreditation for programs used for CE credit. This committee must work closely with the Chairperson of the Annual Conference as well as the Vice-President who is responsible for the Spring Conference. Questions? Click here!

Cowboy Cathode - The Cowboy Cathode is the newsletter/publication of the WSRT. It is released quarterly, usually around November 1, February 1, May 1, and August 1. It contains news from the president of the WSRT and various committees as well as information on regional and national events. Information about students is also included if available. Hospitals and clinical sites may advertise position vacancies for absolutely no charge. We always encourage everyone to submit any articles that may be of interest to our readers to the Editor of the Cowboy Cathode. Credentials - This committee is also chaired by the President-Elect. The Secretary of the WSRT and the Chairperson of the Legislative Committee are members as well. They are responsible for ensuring that nominees for office are eligible, according to our by-laws. Questions? Click here!

Education (Student) - This committee concentrates its efforts on one of our most valuable resources - the student technologists in Wyoming. This committee prepares various student activities at the Annual Conference including the Student Bowl as well as student presentations. There are several scholarships available through this committee for student technologists as well as RT's continuing their education. Questions? Click here!

Finance - The Treasurer chairs this committee that reviews and modifies the budget. The budget must be presented to the general membership 45 days prior to the Annual Conference for their review. Questions? Click here!

Legislative - This committee is usually chaired by the member RT who is a member of the State Board of Radiologic Technologist Examiners. They are responsible to notify the President and Board of any impending legislation that may have an impact on our field and to attend any hearings that may be necessary. Questions? Click here!

Nominations - The Vice-President of the WSRT is responsible for obtaining nominations for officers prior to the elections in July/August of each year. Nominations are opened for the next year's officers during the business meeting at the Annual Conference. Questions? Click here!

Public Relations - This committee exists to promote the WSRT and the field of Radiologic Technology. Activities for National Radiologic Technology Week during the first part of November are the responsibility of this committee. Questions? Click here!

Ways & Means - This committee is responsible for generating revenue for the WSRT. They are also responsible for the raffle that is held during the Annual Conference, including collecting door and raffle prizes.
