Relay for
Life - June 2001
The WSRT participated in their first Relay for Life (in Cheyenne), the
annual walk-a-thon sponsored and hosted nationwide by the American
Cancer Society. The team's theme was the "Blues Brothers" and we won
first prize for best costumes! Becky Schluck, Susan Lewis, Starla Mason,
Gemini Janas, Linda Holden, Shelly Breazeale, Kim McMillian, Kelly
Hartigan, Tami Stephens, Paige Fischer and Glenn Janezich raised over
$1300 for the cause. Overall, the event in Cheyenne raised $153,000,
well over the goal of $135,000. Way to go TEAM! |
